Sometimes in life, and particularly in politics, you see something that doesn’t quite fit; something you can’t make sense of. You file it away for another time, thinking that perhaps you’ll understand when you come back to it again, or when more information presents itself. Occasionally when this happens, you circle back and realise that your concerns were unfounded. But on other occasions, that gut feeling doesn’t dissipate; it grows inside you and makes you feel increasingly uneasy. This is happening right now for me, with a situation involving Wes Streeting and his promotion of the Singapore healthcare system.
