Excellent summary. Thank you. I am opting for Green, who I believe offer the best for our NHS. I know that Labour will most likely get in but they seem to support privatisation. We can only hope the Greens will get some seats to hold Labour to account.
Thank you for this exceptional summary. I was looking at vote for Policies the other day and the Green Party certainly stood head above the crowd on the NHS front. I'm glad I've also been able to read your analysis and perspective given your personal knowledge of the NHS.
Thankyou for all your hard work on this. Giving the party promises and laying out what each party says they will do. Looking through the words to the facts.
Well done, Julia, for this detailed and comprehensive analysis of the competing parties pledges on the NHS. Holly and I have voted Green (we are postal voters) and it is our hope that the Green party will get enough votes to scare Labour.
Our group will have its work cut out right after the election, as that is when our campaign to save the NHS will need to redouble its efforts. It won't be easy but we can do it.
Labour’s ming vase strategy and abandoning of pledges often appears as lack of commitment. 2019 saw Labour’s heaviest defeat since the 1930s. The country was in a terrible place, largely because of #corruptCONservatives dogma and austerity, Boris Johnson was about to drag us out of the EU and Labour elected a new leader just as we went into lockdown. Twas this time when a pledge to spend £28bn PA on fighting climate change.
Four years later the awful state of the country has become catastrophic and pledges from then are no longer sustainable, notably the £28bn which has been used to attack the party but that had become a millstone. Because the pledge has been dropped doesn't mean it isn't an aspiration but it can't be promised.
Labour is relying on Rachel Reeves to achieve economic recovery to sustain it's programme, everything depends on her success.

Thanks so much Gillian! Couldn’t agree more - I think the agenda in parliament will be more progressive if there are independent voices speaking up!

Thank you so much. A brilliant piece of work and a judicious conclusion.
Thank you so much for all of your support Kevin!⭐️💙

wonderfully thought out and explained in detail. I hope more people will begin to understand the deep-seated fundamental problems in the NHS.
